Drive Plate With Overload Protection, Checking Run-Out And Adjusting
-- Remove compressor.
-- Clean flange at drive plate -A-.
-- Secure a dial gauge -B- using a dial gauge holder -C- (for example using Dial Gauge HolderVW 387) on compressor.
-- Set probe of dial gauge -D- on flange of drive plate -A- with a pretension of approximately 1.0 mm.
-- Turn compressor drive unit -E- several rotations.
Specification: Runout deviation is less than 0.21 mm (runout of dial indicator, difference between smallest and largest measured value 0.2 mm maximum).
-- If runout deviation is greater than 0.2 mm, loosen bolts on drive plate. Refer to DRIVE PLATE WITH OVERLOAD PROTECTION and readjust drive plate.
