Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) table
WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 15 other vehicles, including the 2005 Audi allroad, 2004 Audi allroad, 2004 Audi A6, 2003 Audi allroad, and 2003 Audi S6. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE:
- Listed in the following in ascending order of DTCs are all the malfunctions which can be detected by the seat adjustment with memory control module -J136-. 5-digit DTCs are only printed out if the V.A.G 1551 printer is switched on.
- If DTCs only occur intermittently or if DTC Memory is not erased after corrective action, such malfunctions are displayed as being "sporadic faults". "ISP" appears on the right of the V.A.G 1551 display and the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) is permanently lit.
- If components are found to be faulty, additionally use wiring diagram to check for short circuit and open circuit in wiring to components.

If "Open circuit" is displayed for all DTCs 01445 to 01448, the problem may also be a short to positive.

DTC "65535 - Control module faulty" cannot be erased by way of V.A.G 1551 Scan Tool (ST).
