Functional test

Switch on ignition, check DTC memory, and erase DTC memory if necessary.

See ON BOARD DIAGNOSTIC (OBD) .

System errors are indicated by the yellow check light in the tachometer dial lighting up and staying lit.

Then, check the operation of the system by loading the rear axle (for example by opening the trunk and sitting in it).

After no more than 10 seconds the system should begin raising/pumping up the rear axle to equalize the compression caused by the loading.

Maximum pumping time is 30 seconds

If the distance dimension falls more than 6 mm within 24 h, then the system has a leak and has to be checked.

The level control system monitors how long the compressor is turned on to avoid possible overheating or excessive battery discharge. If no switch-on occurs despite a requirement for it, then you can proceed as follows:
