-- Connect the scan tool.

-- Start the engine and let run at idle speed.

-- Select "Diagnostic Mode 06 - Check Test Results of Components that are not Continuously Monitored ".

Select "Test-ID 167 ($A7)".

-- Select the desired "Test-ID (TID)" or "Hex-ID".

-- Check specified values at idle.

11 ($0B) P0306 Combustion misfires Cylinder 6 Average value over 10 Driving Cycles. 0 - 65535 (counts) Refer to DTC P0306 in the DTC table SAE P0XXX DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES .
12 ($0C) P0306 Combustion misfires Cylinder 6 in this Driving Cycle. 0 - 65535 (counts) Refer to DTC P0306 in the DTC table SAE P0XXX DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES .

-- If any of the components or systems fail to meet the specified values, refer to Diagnostic "Diagnostic Mode 03 - Interrogating Fault Memory " to check for stored DTC's or the corresponding diagnostic repair procedure.

-- Switch the ignition off.

-- End of diagnosis.
