Carefully release and disconnect electrical harness connector - 2 - on right connector flange.

Connect multimeter between terminal 2 and 3 on connector - A - for resistance measurement.

Sender removed	Sender at lower stop	Sender at upper stop
Fuel Level Sensor 4 G393	approx. 155Ω	approx. 70Ω

For measured value 0 Ω there is a short circuit, for measured value ∞ Ω an open circuit.

NOTE:

To check resistance values "tank full" or "tank empty" , Fuel Supply Sensor 4 G393 must be removed → Fuel Level Sensor 4, Removing and Installing and the sensor floater must be placed in upper or lower end position.
