Test sequence

• Initiate On Board Diagnostic (OBD) of automatic vertical headlight aim control. See AUTOMATIC VERTICAL HEADLIGHT AIM CONTROL ON BOARD DIAGNOSTIC (OBD), INITIATING  .

Display on VAS 5051:

• In selection -1-, click on the diagnostic function "03-On Board Diagnostic (OBD)".

Display on VAS 5051:

A - 1.Actuator in test

2 - Headlights are lowered

• The headlights will be lowered, until the upper end position has been reached.

• Click on => button

Display on VAS 5051:

A-2. Actuator in test

2- Headlights are raised

• The headlights will be raised, until the upper end position has been reached.

• Click on --> button

Display on VAS 5051:

A - 3. Actuator in test

3 - Signal wire to instrument cluster

• Warning symbol (auto. vert, headlight aim control) is indicated in the center display of the instrument cluster.

• Click on --> button

Display on VAS 5051:

A - Actuator test has ended

• End function "03 - Output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM)" by pressing <-- button.
