Electronic Power Control (EPC) Warning Lamp

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2006 Audi TT, 2005 Audi TT, and 2004 Audi TT. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

EPC is an abbreviation that stands for the Electronic Power Control (E-gas).

The Engine Control Module (ECM) monitors all EPC components after the ignition is switched on.

If a malfunction is recognized in the EPC system during the operation of the engine, the Engine Control Module (ECM) switches on the Electronic Power Control (EPC) Warning Lamp which is located in the instrument cluster and an entry is stored in the DTC memory of the Engine Control Module (ECM).
