Instrument panel, removing and installing: Installing

Place instrument panel in vehicle in installed position.
Set height of instrument panel before bolting by placing spacers -2-. See Fig 1.
- To adjust, outlets -4- must be removed. See COMPONENT LOCATIONS, OVERVIEW .
- Instrument panel must connect at a height of door trim.

After adjusting support for instrument panel -4-, tighten bolts -1- and mounting point of nuts -3- securely.
Tightening torque: 45 Nm (33 ft.lb.)
Loosen bolts -3- for tension free installation of support -2-. See Fig 2.
Tighten screws -1- with 22 Nm (16 ft.lb.)
Tighten screws -3- with 10 Nm (7 ft.lb.).

Further installation occurs in reverse order of removal.
