Test requirements: Notes

• Fuses for engine electronics OK
• Fuel Pump (FP) relay OK

• Connect VAS5051 tester or VAG1551 scan tool and select control module for engine electronics using "address word" 01. Ignition must remain switched ON for this.

• Press buttons -0- and -3- to select "Output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM)" function 03.
