Control module versions (scan tool function 01), checking

Connect VAS5051 tester or VAG1551 scan tool and select address word 03 "Brake Electronics". See VAG1551 SCAN TOOL (ST), CONNECTING AND ENTERING ADDRESS WORD .
NOTE: The following explanations refer to the use of the VAG1551 scan tool. A similar procedure is used for the VAS5051 tester for On Board Diagnostic.
Advance through program sequence by pressing --> button.

Press buttons -0- and -1- to select "Check Control Module Version" 01. Press -Q- button to confirm input.

NOTE: Refer to the parts catalog for the correct ABS Control Module (w/EDL) -J104- for the vehicle.
