Changes implemented from June 1998: Notes

Between week 36 and week 44 of 1998 the production of air conditioning unit version "1" has been converted to air conditioning version "2" as a running change. Both versions can be differentiated through specific characteristics. See CHARACTERISTICS OF AIR CONDITIONER VERSIONS 1 AND 2 .

NOTE:
  • Vehicles with 8 cylinder engines are only equipped with air conditioning unit version "2".
  • When replacing the air conditioning unit or the A/C control head, always observer the additional notes in the parts catalog.
