Check Control Module Versions (function 01)

Connect VAG 1551 scan tool and select address word 03 for "Brake electronics". See VAG 1551 SCAN TOOL, CONNECTING AND ENTERING ADDRESS WORD .
Go to start position of program by pressing --> button:

Press buttons -0- and -1- for the function "Check Control Module Versions" and confirm entry with -Q- button.

NOTE:

The control module version can only be altered by installing a new control module.
Also refer to the parts catalog for the correct ABS control module (w/EDL) -J104- for the vehicle.

The coding is only shown on vehicles with traction control system (ASR); coding control module. See CODE CONTROL MODULE (FUNCTION 07) .

The workshop code, WSC XXXXX, identifies the workshop which performed the last coding of the control module.
