Code Control Module (function 07): Procedure

• Initiate output Diagnostic Test Mode of instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER ON BOARD DIAGNOSTIC (OBD), INITIATING  .

Display on VAS 5051:

• Select diagnostic function "07 - Code Control Module" in selection -1-.

Display on VAS 5051:

1. Enter code word Max. input value = 32767

• Enter 5-digit coding in button field -2- according to coding table. See CODING VERSION FOR ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT  . If necessary, insert zeros in front.

Example:

Desired input value: 2266

Keypad input: 02266

• Press -Q- button to confirm input.

Display on VAS 5051:

1. Coding will be performed

• Wait until the next indication appears on display.

Display on VAS 5051:

1. Coding in vehicle system performed
2. Control module identification with new coding

   (previous coding in parentheses)

• End function "07 - Erase DTC Memory" by pressing <-- button.
