Refrigerant system, servicing: Notes

NOTE:
  • For service work on refrigerant circuit, see A/C REFRIGERANT SYSTEM, SERVICING .
  • All work or components marked with a 1) can be serviced or replaced without discharging the refrigerant circuit (work that does not pertain to refrigerant circuit).
  • All components as well as refrigerant hoses and lines that are not marked with a 1) , can be replaced only with the refrigerant circuit discharged.
  • For vehicles with 8 cyl. engine, the compressor is driven by a shaft, rather than a belt. See VEHICLES WITH 8 CYL. ENGINE (COMPRESSOR DRIVE VIA A SHAFT) .
