DTC P1579/17987: Testing

DTC P1579/17987 indicates that due to missing adaptation requirements, adaptation of Throttle Valve Control Module (TVCM) was aborted or never started. Perform TVCM adaptation procedure, while ensuring all adaptation requirements are met. See THROTTLE VALVE CONTROL MODULE ADAPTATION  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM. If problem is found, repair as necessary. After repair, use scan tool to clear DTCs and generate a ECM readiness code. See FUNCTION 05 - CLEARING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES  and READINESS CODE  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM. Test drive vehicle. Using scan tool, retrieve DTCs. If DTC does not reset, testing is complete.
