DTC P1579/17987: Throttle Valve Control Module Adaptation Not Started

DTC P1579/17987 indicates that adaptation of Throttle Valve Control Module (TVCM) was not performed due to missing adaptation requirements. Use VAS 5051 scan tool perform TVCM adaptation procedure. See THROTTLE VALVE CONTROL MODULE ADAPTATION  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM. If problem is found, repair as necessary. After repair, use scan tool to clear DTCs and generate a ECM readiness code. See FUNCTION 05 - CLEARING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES  and READINESS CODE  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM. Test drive vehicle. Using scan tool, retrieve DTCs. If DTC does not reset testing is complete.
