Steering System Bleeding

  1. Fill power steering fluid to MAX. With vehicle raised and engine NOT running, turn steering wheel from one stop to the other 10 times. Check and top off power steering fluid as necessary.
  2. With front wheel straight, let engine idle for 2 minutes. Turn steering wheel from stop-to-stop 10 times. Residual air trapped in the steering system will dissipate on its own during driving operation after about 6 to 12 miles.
