Resetting Service Reminder Indicator (Sri)

NOTE: Perform this procedure after service has been carried out.

Turn ignition off. Hold reset button for trip recorder and turn ignition on. SERVICE IN ????MI or SERVICE! will be displayed on trip recorder display. Within 5 seconds, turn clock adjuster knob on instrument cluster counterclockwise. Trip recorder display should now read SERVICE IN 8000 MI (for Marelli instrument cluster) or 8100 MI (for VDO instrument cluster). Turn ignition off.
