Multi-function switches, removing and installing: Removing

Adjust steering wheel as far out and up as possible.
Disconnect battery negative (-) terminal.
Remove airbag unit
See appropriate Air Bag Restraint Systems article in Restraints.
Carefully flip airbag unit forward.
Carefully disconnect electrical connector -2-. See Fig 1.
Remove screws -1- and -3- (1 Nm).
Remove switch toward front.
Remove switch assembly -4- in direction of -arrow-.
