Test sequence

Connect VAS5051 tester or VAG1551 scan tool and select control module for engine electronics using "address word" 01. See VAS 5051 VEHICLE DIAGNOSTIC, TESTING AND INFORMATION SYSTEM ORVAG1551 SCAN TOOL (ST), CONNECTING AND SELECTING FUNCTIONS .

Engine must run at idle for this.

When indicated on display:

Press buttons -0- and -8- to select "Read Measuring Value Block" and press -Q- button to confirm input.

When indicated on display:

Enter desired three digit display group number and confirm by pressing -Q- button.

NOTE: Which display group should be chosen depends on current function and component tests.
