Test sequence

With the output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM) all the control elements in the instrument cluster (if installed and coded) are activated in sequence.

Simultaneous activation of all analog instruments (coolant temperature gauge, tachometer, speedometer, fuel gauge)
Activation of seat belt warning lamp
Activation of buzzer (chime)
Segment test of driver information display and/or LCD display for odometer
Test of instrument panel lighting, including dimmer function
Coolant excess temperature test

NOTE:

The instrument panel lighting test can only be conducted with illumination switched on.
Coolant excess temperature test activates the A/C compressor shut-off.
