Check DTC Memory (Function 02)

NOTE: The DTC display information is updated only when initiating the On Board Diagnostic (OBD) program or when using the "Erase DTC Memory" function 05.
  1. Initiate central locking system On Board Diagnostic (OBD). See INITIATING CENTRAL LOCKING SYSTEM ON BOARD DIAGNOSTIC (OBD)  under RETRIEVING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES.
  2. Press buttons 0 and 2 to select "Check DTC Memory" function 02 and press Q button to confirm input.
  3. If "No DTC Recognized" is indicated on display, press right arrow button.
  4. If DTC's are indicated on display; with printer on, the stored malfunctions are displayed and printed out in succession.
    NOTE: If the printer is switched off, press right arrow button to display next malfunction.
  5. Press right arrow button after display and printout of last malfunction.
  6. Repair printed out malfunctions according to DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE DEFINITIONS  under SELF DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM, then erase and check DTC memory again.
