DTC 00301: Return Flow Pump

  1. Erase stored DTC memory. Turn ignition off. Turn ignition on. If malfunction is detected again, replace hydraulic control unit. If malfunction is an intermittent, go to next step.
  2. Fault may be caused by the following:
    • Open or high resistance in power or ground circuit to return flow pump.
    • Open or short in circuit between return flow pump relay and ABS control module.
    • Faulty ABS return flow pump relay.
    • Faulty return flow pump.
  3. Check power and ground circuit to return flow pump for open and short to ground. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Repair circuit if necessary.
  4. Check circuits between ABS return flow pump relay and ABS control module for open short to ground and short to power. Repair if necessary.
