Description & Operation
The power window system consists of a control panel, 3 remote operating switches, window motor, wiring harness and connectors. Mechanical components include a regulator, carrier assembly and typical window hardware.
The power windows can be operated at all times when ignition is in the ON position. After ignition is turned off, the power windows can be operated until either front door is opened. The control panel located in the driver's armrest operates all windows. The rear windows will operate only when the safety switch in control panel is deactivated.
Opening all windows at same time can be accomplished using central control switch on center console. To open windows, press rear of central control switch briefly and all windows will roll down completely. To close all windows, press ad hold front of central switch.
All closed windows will automatically open 6" (150 mm) when opening or closing convertible top.
