The VAG 1552 mobile scan tool can be used instead of the VAG 1551, but there is no print-out capability. See Figure
. The VAS5051 can also be used.
NOTE:
Make sure vehicle voltage and fuses are OK as well as engine and transmission ground (GND) connections are OK before proceeding.
