Automatic Transmission

Remove retainer clip from accelerator cable near throttle body, have an assistant press and hold accelerator pedal down in the wide open throttle position (WOT). At the throttle body pull the cable sleeve back so that cable pulls throttle body fully open. The kick down switch at the firewall should make an audibly clicking sound as the throttle reaches (WOT). Hold cable sleeve in this position, install retainer clip on cable. Operate accelerator pedal several times, check the idle and wide open stops on the throttle. Ensure throttle body closes fully.
