Steering Column Cable

Remove center console. See INSTRUMENT PANEL article in the ELECTRICAL section. Turn ignition switch to ON position. There should be .05-.07" (1.2-1.7 mm) gap between locking pin and lock flap. See Fig 1 . If gap is incorrect, loosen lock nut and adjust.
