Reassembly & Installation
- To reassemble and install, reverse disassembly and removal procedure. On 100 and 200 Turbo models, ensure damping ring locating tabs are mated with indentations on upper spring retainers. If suspension height of right and left sides are unequal, replacement damping ring thicknesses are available to compensate for height difference.
- Drive axle splines must be free of oil, grease and old locking compound. Apply a narrow ring of locking compound around outer end of axle shaft splines, and allow one hour to dry before driving. Tighten drive axle nut to specification with vehicle resting on floor. Check wheel alignment.
