Cruise Control Hall Effect Sender

  1. Remove instrument cluster. Connect voltmeter between Red wire and Black wire on Hall Effect Sender. Turn ignition switch to ON position and measure voltage. Voltmeter should read 9.75-10.2 volts. If not, replace voltage stabilizer and connect voltmeter between Black wire and Green wire on Hall Sender.
  2. Turn speedometer clockwise using a square key. Voltmeter should have pulsating readings of zero volts to 8-10 volts and back to zero volts. If not, replace Hall Sender and repeat test. If Hall Sender checks good, replace cruise control computer module.
