Auto-Check System Operation
When the ignition is turned on the OK signal lights up for a few seconds indicating individual components monitored by the auto-check systems have been checked. The aTceck system continually monitors certain individual functions when the vehicle is turned on and while driving. Urgent repairs or malfunctions are audibly signaled as well as displayed by Red flashing (Danger) triangle. Warnings are displayed in Yellow only. The Yellow warning malfunction symbol(s) can be switched off by pressing the CHECK button.
The flashing Red (Danger) triangle symbol is displayed and buzzer sounds three times for the following malfunctions or warnings:
- Brake fluid level and pressure.
- Engine coolant level is low.
- Engine temperature high.
- Engine oil pressure low.
The flashing Yellow (Warning) symbol is displayed for the following malfunctions:
- Battery voltage low or high.
- Brake light defective.
- Brake pad wear.
- Fuel level low.
- Headlight or taillight defective.
- Windshield washer fluid low.
The Yellow malfunction symbol(s) can be switched off by pressing the CHECK button.
