Boost Pressure Indicator
- Start and idle engine. Using a voltmeter, probe back side of ECU connector terminal No. 17. See Figure . If voltage is not .25-2.5 volts, replace ECU.
- If okay, check boost pressure gauge. If it does not indicate correct pressure, check wiring between ECU and instrument panel. If wiring okay, replace boost pressure gauge.
NOTE:
CIS (LAMBDA) fuel injection maintains constant fuel pressure throughout system. Relieve pressure before opening system. DO NOT
allow fuel to leak on engine or electrical parts. DO NOT allow any open flame near fuel system being serviced.
