Rear Suspension: Description

CHANGES, CAUTIONS, CORRECTIONS 

• 1973 AUDI FOX - STOP PADS FOR REAR COIL SPRINGS  - From Chassis Number 32 171 627, longer rear coil spring stop pads (Part Number 823 512 131 C) have been installed to increase ground clearance when vehicle is fully loaded. These pads may also be installed on earlier vehicles for the same purpose.

Rear suspension is a coil spring type linkage, using a transverse suspension rod for stabilization. This suspension is similar in appearance to that used on the Audi 100 models, except this suspension does not have the torsion bars used on the 100 models.
