Air Injection Check Valve

The air injection check valves are reed type valves. During negative exhaust pressure (low pressure) pulses, vacuum opens the check valve and draws fresh air into the exhaust system. During positive backpressure pulses, the check valves close and do not allow exhaust gases to back up into the system.
