Air Injection Control

The pulse air injection system is switched from upstream to downstream injection (or both) by the MCU. Two electrically-operated vacuum valves supply operating vacuum to the upstream air injection valve and the downstream air injection valve. This allows the MCU to control catalyst operation and thereby reduce exhaust emissions.
