Vacuum Control Temperature Sensor

  1. Disconnect vacuum hoses from sensor. Connect vacuum pump and vacuum gauge to sensor. Make sure that sensor temperature is below 40°F (4°C). Apply 14 in. Hg to sensor.
  2. With sensor temperature below 40°F (4°C), vacuum should be maintained. When heat sensor temperature rises above 55°F (13°C), air bleed valve should open and vacuum should decrease to zero. Replace sensor if it does not meet specifications.
