Coolant Temperature THERMO Time Switch Test

NOTE: When testing resistance or voltage values, a high impedance (digital) volt-ohm meter must be used.
  1. Check resistance values between listed switch terminals and from each terminal to ground. Checks should be made with coolant temperature below 85°F (30°C) and again with coolant temperature above 105°F (40°C).
  2. Compare results to values given in Thermo Time Switch Resistance Values table. If resistance is incorrect, replace switch.
