NOTE:

If replacing the steering box with integrated power steering control module, connect the diagnosis equipment to the car's diagnostic socket, select "Functions to be used only with FCA Technical supervision" then select the "Reset steering angle sensor offset routine" procedure, carefully following the instructions provided by the diagnosis equipment.

NOTE:

If replacing the steering box with integrated power steering control module, use a diagnostic scan tool to perform the Flash Programming Procedure (if available).

The steering box must be removed together with the front suspension crossmember; therefore. Refer to CROSSMEMBER, FRONT SUSPENSION, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
