Removal And Installation

REMOVAL 

1. Remove the starter. Refer to STARTER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

2. Disconnect the wire harness connector (1) for the Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor.
3. Remove the bolt (2) and remove the CKP sensor (3).

INSTALLATION

1. Install the CKP sensor (3) and tighten the bolt (2) to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
2. Connect the wire harness connector (1) to the CKP sensor.
3. Install the starter. Refer to STARTER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
