2.9L Front

REMOVAL 

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.

2. Release the retainers (1b) and open the Power Distribution Center (PDC) cover (1a).

3. Note the terminal ends relative to the PDC to understand where they will connect upon installation.
4. Remove the cable fasteners and cables (2).
5. Remove the PDC bracket fasteners (3a).
6. Remove the PDC.

7. If necessary remove the two PDC bracket to body fasteners (1a) and remove the bracket (1b) by releasing it from the retainers (1c).

INSTALLATION 

1. If removed position the PDC bracket in position.

2. Position the bracket (1a) and engage it to the retainers (1b), then tighten the two PDC to body fasteners (1c) to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
3. Inspect the PDC and the wire harness terminal integrity.

4. Position the PDC (1a), install and tighten the fasteners (1b) to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
5. Connect the cables (2a) to the PDC and tighten the cable fasteners to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .

6. Position the PDC cover (1a) and secure all retainers (1b).
7. Connect the negative battery cable.
