Removal And Installation

REMOVAL 

1. Use the tool (1a) to unscrew the submerged pump retaining ring nut (1b).

2. Remove the submerged pump assembly.
3. Position a suitable container for collecting the fuel contained in the submerged pump assembly.
4. Remove the seal which must be replaced each time the ring nut securing the submerged pump assembly is removed.

INSTALLATION 

1. Place a new sealing ring in the housing on the fuel tank collar and make sure that it is correctly positioned.
2. Reposition the submerged pump assembly as shown in the figure.
3. Tighten the submerged pump retaining ring nut.
4. Remove the tool.
