Removal And Installation

Removal

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove drivers airbag. Refer to AIR BAG, DRIVER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
   NOTE:

   Straighten the front wheels, engage the first steering lock and remove the ignition key.

3. Remove the steering wheel fixing nut protection.

4. Disconnect the electrical connection (1) for the clock spring
5. Undo the fixing nut (2a) and remove the steering wheel (2b).

Installation

1. Fit the steering wheel (1a) in its housing and tighten the fixing nut (1b).

   Steering wheel	Nut	M16x1.5	50

2. Connect the electrical connection (2) for the clock spring.
3. Fit the steering wheel fixing nut protection.
4. Install drivers airbag. Refer to AIR BAG, DRIVER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
