Confirmation Procedure

1. Raise the vehicle on a lift. Make sure it is securely supported, and allow all four wheels to rotate freely.

2. Start the engine, disable the VSA - Refer to: How to Troubleshoot the Fuel and Emissions Systems (1.5L Engine) or How to Troubleshoot the Brake Booster Pressure Monitoring System or How to Troubleshoot the Fuel and Emissions Systems (2.0L Engine) (2024 2025) or How to Troubleshoot the CVT System

3. Run the vehicle with the shift in D position/mode, and the engine speed at 1, 000 rpm or higher.

4. Release the accelerator pedal, for at least 4 seconds. Slow down and stop the wheels.
