Confirmation Procedure

1. Start the engine.

2. Hold the engine speed at 3, 000 rpm without load (CVT in P or N, M/T in neutral) until the radiator fan comes on, then let it idle for at least 5 seconds.Test-drive the vehicle under these conditions:

CVT 

• HDS [Engine Speed] between 1, 700 rpm or more
• CVT in D
• HDS [REL TP Sensor] above 42.2 deg
• Drive 6 seconds or more

M/T 

• HDS [Engine Speed] above 1, 700 rpm
• M/T in 4th or 5th
• HDS [REL TP Sensor] above 34.9 deg
• Drive 4 seconds or more

4. Monitor the HDS [OBD STATUS (PGM-FI)] for DTC P2073.
