Stall Speed Test: Test
How to use this service information .
NOTICE:
- Do not test stall speed for more than 10 seconds at a time.
- Stall speed tests should be used for diagnostic purposes only.
- When working with a vehicle equipped with the electronic air suspension, be sure to set it to the leveling off mode to prevent unexpected operation. Refer to the Electronic Air Suspension System Service Precautions - Refer to: Electronic Air Suspension System Connector Fitting Precautions or Electronic Air Suspension System Service Precautions for the procedure.
NOTE:
The stall speed should be the same in all positions/modes.

Preconditions
- Engine Warmed UpNOTE:
Warm up the engine by raising the engine speed around 3, 000 RPM until the cooling fan(s) comes on.
- Parking Brake Applied
- All Four Wheels Blocked
- A/C Switch OFF
- ATF Level Normal Condition
- HDS Connected
Procedure/Specifications
1. Select the following menu buttons on the HDS screen in sequence.
- AT (System Selection Menu)
- Data List
2. Start the engine.
3. Shift the transmission to D position/mode while pressing the brake pedal firmly, then press the accelerator pedal, and note the engine speed.
NOTICE: Do not change the shift position/mode or remove your foot off the brake pedal, while raising the engine speed.
4. Allow 2 minutes for cooling, then repeat the test in R position/mode.
