Interior Lights System Description - Components

Front Individual Map Lights 

The front individual map lights are equipped on all vehicles. The front individual map lights can be turned on and off by pressing on the map light switch.

Rear Individual Map Lights 

The rear individual map lights are equipped on all vehicles. A mechanical switch illuminates the rear individual map light regardless of conditions, linking with an entry light control system.

Front Ambient Light 

The front ambient light is built into the roof module, linked with the combination light switch. The ambient light brightness can be adjusted by the gauge control module.

Rear Ambient Light 

The rear ambient light is built into the rear individual map lights, linked with the combination light switch. The ambient light brightness can be adjusted by the gauge control module.

Vanity Mirror Lights 

The vanity mirror lights are placed in both sunvisors and illuminate when the vanity mirror cover is open.

Glove Box Light 

The glove box light illuminates in conjunction with the combination light switch.

Footwell Lights 

Without Master Lighting Control Unit 

The footwell light brightness can be adjusted by the gauge control module.

With Master Lighting Control Unit 

The footwell light, which is controlled by the lighting master control unit that receives the integrated dynamics mode signal and the illumination control signal from the gauge control module, and varies its color and brightness.

Door Inner Handle Lights 

Without Master Lighting Control Unit 

The door inner handle light brightness can be adjusted by the gauge control module.

With Master Lighting Control Unit 

The door inner handle light, which is controlled by the lighting master control unit that receives the integrated dynamics mode signal and the illumination control signal from the gauge control module, and varies its color and brightness.

Instrument Panel Ambient Light/Door Ambient Light 

The instrument panel ambient light/door ambient, which light is controlled by the lighting master control unit that receives the integrated dynamics mode signal and the illumination control signal from the gauge control module, and varies its color and brightness.

Driver's/Front Passenger's Door Speaker (9 cm) Light (With Door Speaker Light) 

The driver's/front passenger's door speaker (9 cm) light is controlled by the lighting master control unit that receives the integrated dynamics mode signal and the illumination control signal from the gauge control module, and varies its color and brightness.

Tailgate Light 

The tailgate light is located in the tailgate, and illuminates when the tailgate is open.
