How to use this service information .

1. M/T Differential Rotating Torque - Check

   Preconditions 

   • Engine Stopped
   • Vehicle Lifted

   Procedure/Specifications 

   1. Shift the transmission into neutral.

   2. Measure the rotating torque in the direction shown.

   NOTICE:  Rotate the torque wrench more than two complete turns, and take the maximum reading.

   Name
   a	Torque Wrench

   3. Shift the transmission into low gear, and measure the rotating torque again.

   4. Calculate the rotating torque.

   Calculation Formula: 

   Measurement (step 3)/Measurement (step 2) ≥ 2.5 N.m (1.8 lbf.ft) 

   Specifications 

   Standard Value
   2.5 N.m (1.8 lbf.ft)

   5. Repeat steps 1 through 4 for the other wheel.

   Result 

   • If it is abnormal, replace the differential carrier - Refer to: Transmission Components (CVT) or Transmission Components (M/T, Type-S) (2024 2025) or Transmission Components (M/T, Except Type-S) .
