MAP Sensor Functional Inspection (2)

Test Procedure 

• Procedure

• Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
• Note the HDS [MAP Sensor (Hi Res)] value.
• Start the engine, and let it idle.
• Compare the HDS [MAP Sensor (Hi Res)] value with the noted value.

• Normal Conditions
• • -

    The HDS [MAP Sensor (Hi Res)] value changes 0.67 kPa (0.2 inHg, 5 mmHg) or more  from the noted value.

Results 

• If it is abnormal, there is a problem with MAP sensor.
