PCM Inspection

Preconditions 

NOTE:  This procedure can be done before any other inspections are completed because this test procedure includes all of the following inspection items. However, if this test fails, it will be necessary to continue with each inspection item individually to determine which item failed.

• External circuit is normal

Test Procedure 

Unit output voltage inspection

• Preparation
• • -

    Secondary HO2S (Sensor 2) connector (4P) : disconnected

• Procedure
• • Jump the secondary HO2S (Sensor 2) connector (4P) terminals No. 1 and No. 2 with a jumper wire.
  • Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
  • Confirm the HDS [HO2S S2].

(Disconnected) Secondary HO2S (Sensor 2) connector (4P) male terminals

• Normal Conditions
• • -

    HDS [HO2S S2] value is less than 3.28 V  .

Results 

• If it is normal, there is a problem with the PCM.
