How to use this service information .

1. VTC Oil Control Solenoid Valve - Check

   Preconditions 

   • VTC Oil Control Solenoid Valve Removed
   • • -

       VTC Oil Control Solenoid Valve A - Refer to: Chain Case/Cam Chain Area (2.0L Engine) (2024 2025) or Chain Case/Cam Chain Area (1.5L Engine)

     • -

       VTC Oil Control Solenoid Valve B - Refer to: Cylinder Head/Camshaft Area (2.0L Engine) (2024 2025) or Cylinder Head/Camshaft Area (1.5L Engine)

   Procedure/Specifications 

   1. Check for any blockage in the ports of the VTC oil control solenoid valve.

   2. Check the VTC oil control solenoid valve operation according to the following condition.

   Specifications 

   Condition		Specification
   Terminal	12 Volt Battery Terminal
   No. 1	(+)	Clicking sound is heard.
   No. 2	(-)

   Result 

   • If it is abnormal, replace the VTC oil control solenoid valve.
