EPS Indicator Does Not Go Off

Diagnostic Procedure

NOTE: If any of the CAN communication failure DTC is indicated in other system, troubleshoot the DTC first.

Check for open wire or short wire in the F-CAN circuit;
- Between the gauge control module and the CAN gateway (IF-CAN_H, IF-CAN_L).
- Between the EPS control unit and the CAN gateway (VF-CAN B_H, IF-CAN B_L).
Check the EPS control unit power circuit (+B_EPS, IG1/IG1_VSA/ABS).
Check the EPS control unit ground circuit (GND/PGND).
Do the gauge control module self-diagnostic function .
